‘A very attractive hazard’: Melatonin, THC, CBD gummies are far from harmless Gummies, those sugary bears, worms or button-sized candies, seem harmless — but they are far from it.Florida’s Poison Control Centers are fielding an escalation of calls from people who have become seriously ill from overdoses of melatonin, THC and CBD gummies. Emergency department visits in Florida are rising, too. Reactions include nausea, vomiting, extreme lethargy, tremors, confusion and even trouble breathing. The increase in gummy overdoses is triggered by availability, new habits formed during the pandemic and inconsistent dosage issues.Gummies are easy to get and increasingly popular. Loons star Emanuel Reynoso shares why he was away from club for four months Emanuel Reynoso was making up for lost time Tuesday.Minnesota United’s star midfielder was full of vigor before the training session started, certainly had a spark during it and answered all questions in a nearly 20-minute group interview afterward. The Argentine first laughed with fellow Latino teammates in the opening jog, dribbled a ball between warmup drills and passed another ball with a staff member. Then the MLS All-Star rattled his first shot off the post, deftly slotted the second one into the back of the net and pulled off something very few players can do — a back-heel flick to himself to set up another shot.None of that was seen during his four-month holdout in Argentina, which resulted in an MLS suspension without pay from February until he returned in May and cleared league protocols. He trained for a month before making an impact as a substitute into the previous two games against Toronto and Montreal.Loons manager Adrian Heath joked with Reynoso before Reynoso spoke w...
